Private Tour Information

When your child attends an 8th grade tour at Sea, he or she arrives at 7:30 a.m. to visit our many specialized homerooms, including the Institute for Scientific Research, Robotics, Band, Chorus, Publications, and more. Next, groups sit in on a live WSJS broadcast, attend classes in various disciplines, have lunch, and tour our fields and new Viking Student Center. They are dismissed from the front door at 11:30 a.m., and each student is given a letter to excuse their absence at their current school. 

We are currently offering tours 4 days a week for the month of September.  October tours will be available soon.

What Does The Tour Consist Of?

My Child Isn't In The 8th Grade Can I Still Book A Tour?

We are only offering appointments to current 8th graders Other students are encouraged to attend our traditional Open House event in October.

How Long Will My Child's Private Tour Last?

The tour will begin at 7:30am and end at 11:30am

What Safety Measures Should I Expect During My Child's Private Tour?

Students will be required to wear a mask to their appointment and adhere to social distancing guidlines per the CDC.  In addition, you will enter the building through our main entrance and pass through our thermal temperature scanner as outlined by CDC best practices.
